Hi All

I need to get hold of a couple of 5 pin DIN to RCA leads - if anyone has anything, please let me know.

Cheers

There are DIN to phono adaptor leads for a couple of quid on eBay, or you can spend more of course.

These look decent:

The sky's the limit pricewise really.

Flashback cables sell reasonable priced DIN to RCA cables - I've used them a number of times and they are very helpful.

£12 for a one metre length of this one:

I would make my own, but DIN plugs are difficult to work with owing to their small size: you have to be particularly neat with the soldering.

+1 for Flashback sales. They are very helpful and friendly people to deal with and their products are well made using quality components (usually Neutrik RCA and DIN connectors).

if you are just after something cheap and cheerful, you can have these for nothing Rich, they were just lying around in my loft :-)

DIN is horrid to work with

The Mayware RCA-DIN converters allow you to use any old RCA-RCA cables

Edit
Barmy typo !

DIN is horrid to work with

The Mayware RCA-DIN converters do and RCA-RCA cables

Which have a tendency to hang downwards with the weight of the connecters attached

Dins are as you say horrid cos people don't know how to solder them correctly. I personally prefer Dins to Phono's
