Selling a Pass Labs B1 buffer/pre, made with very high quality parts.

I bought on another forum from the builder - it's superbly well put together. These are a fab alternative to either a passive/TVC or an active preamp, falling somewhere in the middle.

I'm a huge fan of these (this is my third) and although this is the nicest one I've had, it's also the cheapest, as I'm only asking what I paid for it, £120 collected from Berkshire, or +£10 for courier.

Details here of how it works:

It has two inputs, one output (this is easily changed around of course). It also has a ton of boutique bits:

ClarityCap ESA output caps
Black Gate 1000uF caps used on the psu
Takman metal film resistors
Nichicon 10,000uF "Gold Tune" psu caps on the B1 pcb
Alps Blue volume pot

Some pics borrowed from when I bought it:

This is a bargain and worth 2x the asking price !! I doubt you could get all the parts for that cost. Someone got a mega deal.

Just thought that as the seller hasn't yet marked this down as sold , that I ought to own up and admit that I am the lucky sod who got in very quickly and bagged this little beauty.
Its paid for and on its way to me , I believe. I agree with David that this does seem to be a real bargain at the sellers asking price.
However, 'The proof of the pudding'..................... :)

It was cheap because i don't believe in adding margin to stuff bought on forums. It would probably have made double what I paid for it (on PFM) if I'd sold it on ebay but I just wouldn't feel right doing that. As I said it's the best of the several I've had in my possession, certainly the one with the fanciest bits inside and probably the best put together technically.

I still have one I bought from David. Must look it out and try it again.

After I sold mine to ali I ended up building another a few months later when I wanted a pre without any fuss and colouration. I'm not selling my 2nd build !!
I've sold too many good bits in the past
