A wonderful sounding 35 wpc amp that looks just that leetle bit different. ;)

The front fascia is in excellent condition, the chassis case is dent-free but badly marked! See pics.

£100 + £15 courier.

This is the original model, not the one redesigned and screwed up by Richer Sounds.

you can tell a MK.1 by looking at the rear of the amp

you meant by the front, by the separate record and listen, plus the power, knobs, right?

Can't make the front out but the rear is different

You can tell it's a MK1 by peering in thru the top vents - the circuit board looks quite different to the later version.

And a better (?) photo of the front ... do you realise how difficult that chrome finish is to photograph?

It looks way nicer than this pic!

And by the lack of RJ45 socket for remote controlling the matching CD Player/tuner unit. Very nice amp - good luck with the sale Jerry!

Was it the MK I that was aided with alien technology - or the Richer Sounds version?

If the aliens were incompetent kludgers, then yep that could have been Richer Sounds' version. ;)

Supposed to be good these. I read a review on them a while ago that referred to them being old school Sugden esque in not using the usual pnpnpn mix of transisters. If I was in the market for an amp I'd give this some consideration.

PM sent Jerry. I'm the bloke who bought your Cymbol.

Yep, Hi Rana!

Thanks for the offer in the PM, I was just about to reply - I'm kinda waiting to see if anyone wants to shuffle up with the full asking price.

I have to confess that I'm in two minds as to whether to sell it - it does look seriously cool on my shelves! :stalks: :)

Hi,

I've sent you an email regarding the amp.

Thanks

I'll buy it for the full asking, I just need someone to take my TA-F6B first.

Thanks guys - Dannyboy got in 1st -- but I'm having a ponder as to whether I want to sell it after all!

.... a really good sounding amp that looks interestingly fabulous .... do I really need £100 that badly?

Mmmmm ..... I suspect I'll be keeping it for now, but will confirm yay or nay later. :)

I have decided to hang on to the amp for now, so thanks for all the interest but the amp is now WITHDRAWN from sale. :)

As a matter of interest, what made the ones that Richer Sounds were selling inferior to yours Jerry?

Not sure, but I think the only thing in common was the pretty chassis - I think it was a total redesign of the innards, probably to minimise cost and increase ease of manufacture.
