Grado Ps500 Professional Series Headphones

About 50 hours use. I wear glasses so I removed the original L-cush and used a G-cush from the grado GS1000 series for more comfort so the original pads have never been used.

These are as brand new and immaculate in original box. I only used them in the house on my bedroom system. They really need another 100 hours burn in use to be honest.

£350 + postage (buyer to pickup M29 area, J21 M6, or arrange your own courier with insurance)

Bargain since you essentially get a brand new pair for 1/2 the cost.

Why you selling them Dave, I have them and they're excellent headphones!

I have an old pair of stax and a pair of hd800. As much as I love these for their sheer detail and punch I am tempted to try some gs1000i and cannot justify the cost of owning 4 pairs of high end headphones!!

As for the synth in my avatar I cannot remember but its quite a famous pic of a vintage modular with a French composer who's name eludes me atm. I don't think its moog though from memory.

Found him.. He is called Joel Chadabe.
He is working at the CEMS modular System in the Electronic Music Studio at State University of New York at Albany in 1970.

Price reduction to £325 before they go on that dreaded auction site this weekend. Cheapest brand new I can find is £540 from Analogue Seduction so still saving over £200 for what is essentially new.

Yo, David, hows it hangin’? Long time no hear! Hope you’re keeping well.

Got any interesting projects on the go? The crossovers in my Tannoys are still sounding superb! You should pop over again sometime for a listen :)

Marco.

I'm doing ok. Yes, maybe a get together with Ian cleansweeps one weekend would be good. I can't remember the route to your's but have an idea about Ian's.

No new projects. Last one was a lightspeed pre and another passlabs B1 but with premium parts. I don't really use them as I use headphones now. I might build that little Tim De Paravicini 5W class A Ian has of Dave's later this year since I have the circuit and I keep looking at it every few months ;)

Nice one, mate. Yeah, would be good to hook up again. I’ll see if I can drag Ian along to Scalford too, but these days he’s often busy at weekends doing the ‘granddad thing’! ;)

See the Scalford thread, btw - you may have a lift…!

Marco.
