Doubt it will make me rush out and buy new gear:eyebrows:

I wonder if it was specifically intended for Playboy or suchlike?

I have Linn gear, and that add is true! Linn is the only sound, :guitar:How ever, no blow up doll has ever appeared in my listening room! Yet!:D

Except, perhaps, on your TV...
You must remember a certain episode of 'Only Fools and Horses'?

These days, if you own a Linn system, you can only afford a blow-up doll!! :D

Marco.

A somewhat deluded advertisement, if ever there was one.

I wonder, when this was conceived as I am pretty sure Advertising Standards wouldn't allow it now ?

You will never, ever, conceive anything with a blow-up doll...

No. It's not a spoof. It was run just once, in Penthouse, in the 1980s. It was, at the time, Linn's most expensive and possibly most successful advertising campaign. I say 'possibly' because whenever anyone asked where this new custom had come to hear of Linn Products, you never, ever got a straight answer.

Nah, back in the day you bought Penthouse for the articles. If you wanted a wank it was Razzle all the way ;)
