What does the Blend button do on my Nad tuner ?

My old nad 4225 tuner sounds fantastic to me all lights lit up tuned in lovely but what does the blend button do ??? I'm on iPad and it won't download manual ! Thankyou for your help

NAD tuners are really good IME.
The blend button is for weak signals. If the reception in stereo isn't strong, and you are getting any whistles or birdies :), then this button reduces the dependence on the stereo components and sort of gives a pseudo-mono, which will be clearer.

Many thanks I'm lucky to live in a strong signal area it's just a t shape rabbit wire Ariel on the wall to me sounds as good as dab which I have in the car

Simply put, it puts the high frequencies in mono, and leaves the lower frequencies in stereo, hence a 'blend'. This is for areas where the signal is weak, as has already been said. That way you still get most of the stereo sound without the annoying noises.
