Ed May, the designer of many of JBL's greatest speakers had a brief spell at Cetec Gauss and the resultant drivers he disigned certainly bear a family resemblence

I would think few if any complete speakers arrived on these shores but the drivers are not that uncommon and can form the basis of a fantastic domestic system

I remember Gauss speakers. If I recall their UK HQ in the seventies was near me in Ealing. I always fancied trying some of their drivers, they looked superb, but I never got my hands on any (yet).

They do crop up from time to time on ebay. The 1502 HF units are pretty good, Living Voice used them on their Air Partner speakers as the Vitavox S2 only goes to a 16k at most.
