View Full Version : WTD: Stands Unique 100m glass shelves...anyone have unused ones or spares?

Rejigging my system and need 1 or 2 more glass shelves for my Stands Unique rack.
Its one of these:

Glass shelf dimensions
10mm thick, 480mm x 330mm

Company's went bust unfortunately.
Theres a local glass maker/ supplier who could knock something up, but might be expensive for a small run and would prefer to get the original matching shelves if possible.

Sorted,
local glass guy can do the shelves at £30 a pop, not too bad so went with that.

Job's a good'un.

Just some new kit to add to the rack Grant :eyebrows:
Rather than piling on top of something else I prefer to have everything on its own shelf.

Late to the thread, but I was going to suggest a local glass place. I took one of the originals from the same rack and they made me an identical one for £25. The only thing missing is the etched logo, but who cares?

Did the glass tint match up ok...light green I think?

Yes it does. They did a great job, including profiling the edges the same. You cant tell them apart in the rack.

I only use it as a spares rack in the spare bedroom now lol. I have a double width 4 shelf Spectral on duty these days. I don't ever want to buy glass for that!

Great for £30, From Stands Unique the shelves were £45 fifteen years ago...who knows how much they'd go for now?

Missing the pegs unfortunately to put the shelves in the rack, that's my next problem!
Shame the company went bust, had a look on EBay for spares dept but no joy.
