I am Delio from Italy.
I bought my first hi fi ampli-receiver 40 years ago and built my first speakers immediatly after.
Now I use a minimal apparatus: two mono class-d ampli (Acoustic Reality), directly wired to Nu-Force dac-80, cd player Original Leonardo da Vinci, Infinity speakers Reference 61 MKII re-cabled, internally stiffened and with cross-over moved out of the cabinet (looking to improve them... maybe with planar). I listen mainly to rock from a computer with Linux and Dead Beef player (just bought a 64-bit motherboard to use with Audiophle Linux 3...). I use silver cables fron ampli to DAC. What I am after is the most uncoloured sound possible (within my budget of course :) )
All my electronics sits on three spiked feet, hand made. Stand too is on 3 feet hand made from antique slabs of walnut and oak (my second hobby is restoration of old forniture)
I own about 1000 CDs.
I read a lot on the internet and I am open to any suggestion.
