Hi All,

I am thinking I could probably part with my CDs and go all vinyl, I have around 280ish, lots of Massive attack, Portishead, funk/jazz, soundtracks, 90's/00's brit rock, a real mixture to be honest. I think a quid and a bit each maybe about right so I'm looking to swap/sell for around £350. I would happily put these as PX to a TT if someone has something tempting around the £500 range, be happy with something for less too though.

Full list not completed yet but will be done shortly.

Will chuck the bookcase in too.

Collection only from Bristol or Barry, although I will deliver if you are somewhere near or between either.

There might be more interest if posting was a possibility. Personally I like me some funk/jazz.

Hi Rich.

I've moved this to Music & Film sales for you.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks

I did consider postage, but thought it would be a bit pricey.

Keep them

I need LPs and CDs. Some albums are just not available on one. Some of the vinyl prices are also bonkers

I also like the flexibility of having both, often CD and LP of the same album

I did consider that, I have Emiliana Torrini and Emily Loizeau CDs that are impossible to find on vinyl, but they are on spotify.

If Amazon or AllMusic don't have the album I use Spotify for sampling, to see if I want to buy the CD or LP.

For some reason I don't like Spotty much

Only reason i say keep them is cos CD's are pretty much worthless junk. aye a quid each sounds about right but when you look at it they are not worth bothering selling on. Ive never in my life seen anything de value in price than CDee's you must have paid no less than £3k for that lot..The last lot i got shut of i just gave the mate.

Hi Paul,

Well, I started to compile the list and realised that there were too many albums in there that I wouldn't be able to easily replace on vinyl, so I think it would be rather rash of me to let them go after all, sorry.

Rich.

No problem Rich, fully understand, have had the same quandary many a time myself.
