View Full Version : Wanted. Record Clamp
Hi all.
I'm after a record clamp for my Heybrook TT2. The spindle it's quite short on this so I'm not sure if all clamps will fit.
I'm not looking at spending silly money on this though as I've spent quite a bit lately.
Anyone got 1 that's not needed??

You might get away with this Nathan...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clearaudio-Record-Clamp-Clever-Clamp-Clip-/131229872082?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item1e8de8efd2 I think it is perfectly flat..so should get hold of the spindle..failing that a record weight..i'm using a home made jobby..which is very effective...It is an ice hockey puck with a heavy stainless cupboard knob.. easy to make..and very low cost

Hi Marco..It is a Logic DM101 tt with a Decca London International tonearm with a Hadcock lift..the cartridge is a Nagoka mp11 (Stilton)and an MP50 stylus. the turntable was gifted to me by Stewart Wennen..It was in a sorry state when I got it.. and did a refurb on it and made the arm rest from a piece of mahogany. the tt is exceptional and plays very well..Stewart is a smashing fellow. he has given me lots and lots of advice and help.
Nice one… It looks really lovely! Why wasn’t it submitted for the recent belt-drive T/T competition (unless I missed it)? If it had been, it would’ve probably won! ;)
Marco.
super decks those...a lovely pressie even needing some work. they dont come along everyday.

'DM101' are awesome decks. Yours got the big spring around the bearing housing? Don't use mine but will never part with it...

Yes it has the big spring...It is a tinker to set up, but once you're there it is a lovely tt.

Yep one of the best quality bearings sub platter/platters ive ever laid hands on. I could do with a set of three spring cradles to replace the old ones, the old ones are ok but id prefer to fit new as i plan on buying an outboard electronic speed change at some point & use it again..
I should never have passed this by.
