I am on the hunt for a new set of speakers, and have spotted a pair of these 2nd hand.
A bit of a gamble, as I won't be able to audition them before I buy them. All reviews I have read seem quite positive.

How much space do these need to be able to breathe properly?

When I had a pair of GB1's they were about 15-20 inches out from the back wall and a similar distance either side of a chimney breast.
