Some New Speakers.

Hi all,

Been looking for some older JBL's for a while and these came up on ebay fairly local. Only Snag with them they where sold as ex studio sold as seen untested.
so after much thinking decided to bid and won them. Drove the hour drive today to collect them handed over my hard earned cash. The chap told me these are EX ITV televsion studio speakers, but i can't recall which ITV studios have closed he did tell me!

So these are JBL Studio Monitors 4412. these sound so amazing on my system. Will get some better pictures once they are all set up properly.

the chap also gave a nice wooden 19 inch rack mount which came out of the Met Office.

heres the rack unit, im thinking of using this to mount all my stereo in not sure yet.

Thanks they sound pretty good from my system.

Shame the boxes arnt in better condition as they have been drilled for the studio stands but at £200 im not complaining!

Thanks - They are sat on my stands i used for my KEF speakers at present, im not sure what stands would suit them best - anyone have any suggestions?

Starting building the rack cabinet today. the grey vent slots are what came with it but im planning to get black ones soon.

need to modify the pull out shelfs for my turntable idea soon as i get time il post the pictures up.

sorry lighting is a nightmare and excuse the mess beside it, work in progress still.

Almost finished now. Just waiting on some parts for the power pannel and my xlr output sockets. The plan is to have inputs and outputs on the panels in the lower half, so if i want to test something or plug a diffreint component in i can just plug it in the front panels,

Im sure it wont be to everyones taste, but im quite liking how it looks.

If you have a 'LP12' with the usual hinge spring breaking thru the Plastic, the all metal hinges from one of those NAD '5120' TT's hinges will fit
