I have had to vacate my little music room and stick the hi fi down the bottom end of the living room. She who knows best said that on no account was I putting 'those horrible black monstrosities' in the room-my Vandersteens :doh:
Oh well, I thought, lets be positive and try some home made speakers. I got a pair second hand with Seas tweeters and Vifa woofers. After a bit of tweaking, I have to admit they are not bad. The top end is probably better than the Vandies but they don't produce the holographic soundstage that the Vandies are renowned for.

I shouldn't complain. There are 8 speakers in the living room now. A 5.1 system and the hi fi.
