I bought this Denon DVD 3910 dvd player from James ( isitari knight ) a couple of months ago to replace my broken Sony Bluray player . My video collection mainly consisted of DVDs and as I've always fancied one of these battleship players I jumped at the chance . I wasn't disappointed as the picture on these is just as good , and in some areas better , than my old Sony Bluray player . The 3910 has an HDMI output as well as a Scart output . This DVD player is also excellent when used to play CDs from digital coax to my DAC and also phono outputs .
I have decided to sell because my lovely wife bought me a very nice shiny Bluray player for my Christmas and 10 of my favourite films in bluray . My good mate Gary also came over last week and upgraded my server and it now sounds totally addictive with file based audio .
I haven't used the DVD 3910 much since then and so I've decided that someone else could be getting the use of this battleship DVD player . Cosmetically the player is in very good condition and works perfectly with DVDs , CDs and SACDs . Unfortunately I don't have any DVD-A discs to try .
The DVD 3910 comes with a fully functional remote which lights up . It also comes with the original manual . Unfortunately I don't have the original box , however the unit will be well packaged for transporting .
I'm looking to recoup what I paid for this which was £120 including UK packaging . Paypal ( family and friends please ) .

A proper battleship player, these were £1000 new. A worthwhile upgrade over the DVD-2900 IME too.

GLWTS Brian, though I doubt it will be around for long !

This is a corker of a player... A superb cd transport if anything.

Not forgetting that this player has a 24 bit 192khz dac (for music playback)...plays standard cd's..but it also plays sacd and dvd audio...I have one of its baby brothers the 2900..and it is a startling player..as is this unit.

This could be helpful...to make the player multi region....quite a simple procedure
