Fully working factory matched pair of black Ruark Epilogue speakers. Both have a couple of very small marks/scratches or dinks, but nothing serious. Grills in good condition too:

I know nothing about Ruark speakers but these look to be in brilliant condition and look to suit my needs for my rather large desktop system!

What's their soundstage like (smooth, flat, a bit bright etc...)? Do they handle bassy music well or are they more of a quiet listening speaker...?

My music ranges from the likes of Dean Martin/Rat Pack/Nat King Cole through to Bonzo Dog/Jethro Tull up to current stuff such as Fischerspooner, Mount Kimbie, Hed Kandi etc... Eclectic I know!

They'd probably be partnered with something along the lines of an Arcam Alpha 5-9 amp or NAD C320BEE etc...

Thanks

Hi Dan & appreciate your interest... I'm no poet when it comes to describing how a speaker sounds, but I used these with a Onkyo CR515DAB all in one as part of a bedroom system and they did as good a job as they could with the source in conveying CD or DAB. Just before boxing them up, I did connect them up to my main system in place of my ProAc's (but as you can imagine) although there was a huge gulf in class between the two, they didn't disgrace themselves either. I would describe them as a neutral sounding speaker which benefit from close placement to a wall to develop extra low end from the rear firing bass ports. I also had them bi-wired, but they work equally as good single fed with the links in place...

FWIW I own a pair of these and think them absolutely wonderful - lovely detailed musical sound with surprisingly good bass extension for a small speaker. I highly recommend them.
