Hello, I am a 55 year old male, who has had a interest in good sounding stereo systems since I was very young. I have built kit pre-amps and power amps over the years. I have built Audio Synthesis kits from the early 1990's. My current system is a pair of 20 year old Martin Logan Quest Z electrostatic speakers, Quad 909 power amp and a LDR preamp. My cd player is a Pioneer PDS-801, which runs via the Audio Synthesis DAC. Turntable is Linn LP12, with Linn Ittok LV11 arm.

Hi Jamie and welcome. Sounds like you have some good kit there. There seems to be a good mixture of age groups here, with some being young and some of us more like you and me being older.

Hello all, I hope the photos are transferred ok to the site.
My music interests are pretty standard........... nothing too exotic. I enjoy a wide variety of music dependant on the mood. Anything from U2, Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Mike Oldfield, Vangelius, Jeff Beck, Black Sabbath, Cold Play, Ralph Towner, and of course the girls like Dido, Evanesence, Adele.
