I'm rather relieved now that I see where the thread is really heading.:doh:

For a while there I thought from the first photo above that you were going to suggest rolling out a length of brown paper to act as a dustcover each time you put the Techy to bed.:mental::D

What to do with the four holes/area that the hinges would go if one isn't using them but the title of the thread is a tad obtuse.
