I have a 3d TV. I'm about to buy a 3d BluRay player, but.....as I use an AV receiver, will I need to buy a new 3d enabled one to enjoy 3d films?

Cancel the question, it seems my Onkyo is just a bit too old, so yes I do.
Or buy a player that has 2 HDMI outputs, but if I do that and the Onk decides to go wonk again......

It would seem the answer is yes. I thought that a pass through signal would have included all data and passed it on to the screen but it seems not, unless the bandwidth is broad enough to include the 3D signal...... more here.
