Does anyone know anything about this player?

It seems fairly low down the range but I would like to know why it is still on Amazon second hand for $150 and there is one for sale here for €9. Working it says!! After possibly twenty years it might not have that much life left in it but cheap spares are always useful in the bedroom systems.

Sounds as if someone is on the make or just plain wrong Gordon. The €9 is the right price.

Some folk do list for crazy money on Amazon, there is an Arcam Alpha (1) on the UK site for £650!

Wow, I was about to swap an Alpha 1 and a Denon tuner for a NAD Tuner amp (3020 amp section). I may have to ask for a few hundred as well then!!! Crazy price.
