Hi all,

I'm having a bit of a change of direction hi-fi wise, so am selling some bits and pieces...

First up is the Ming Da integrated. This is an 18wpc single ended amp, but it's low power belies an amp that's quite gutsy - it drives my Dali Suite 2.8's with ease. It's in pretty much immaculate condition save for a small scratch on the rear of the transformer (see pic). It comes with all documentation, remote (a lovely billet aluminium block with volume and mute control, nowt else) and a spare rectifier valve. You'll see in the pics I've replaced the rectifier with a Copper Cap solid-state rectifier, which tightened up the bass nicely and seemed to expand the rest of the sound too - a worthwhile upgrade. The original valve rectifier is included (along with a spare). Valves are the original factory items so plenty of opportunity for tube-rolling.

It has 4 line-level inputs and switchable headphone output. It's a 'proper' one supplied from Ming-Da UK.

There's a good review of the amp on HiFiWigWam HERE (http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread.php?68058-Ming-Da-Amp-review&highlight=Ming+Da+368)

I've the original box so it could be sent, though I'd much prefer a meet-up - I'm in Somerset, about 10 mins from J23 of the M5 - I'd be happy to meet anywhere within an hour's drive, or I do come to Sussex/London on work so we might be able to work something out there. I'd consider swaps for a turntable along the lines of a Rega RP6 (poss cash adjustment if needed) so there might be a possible deal to be had.

Asking £485 for the amp, postage at cost - but it weighs a ton so I'd reckon on £30-40 at a guess.

Yes Jerry, this very one... We did a dodgy deal from the back of our motors in Gordano services if you remember! :-)

Must. Stop. Looking. At. Ads. On. Here. I am in the market for an amp for my computer to drive my Mission 751s and was thinking of getting something like a Yaqin as my budget is only about £250 but dat amp it looks so sexc. In seperate news I have a clearaudio emotion,CMB upgraded with sexc replacement feet,an rubber O ring is used to raise the motor to the correct height as the feet are larger than the original cone wand provided(which I kept just in case)and comes on an acrylic platform which I view as an integral part of the TT. I was going to keep, the missus virtually insists I do as she prefers its looks to my Thorens. But its just in its original box under my bed. Used to play it with a Dynavector Karat and it was incredibly detailed. Was contemplaiting putting it on the bay as I want a Garrard 301 to play with.<iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/h00d001/embed/Mobile%20Uploads/story"></iframe>

Jimney Cricket that packing would outlive the cockroaches in a nuclear winter. An excellent purchase resplendent with a lifetime's worth of valvage included. Sounds the dogs n all. Which is the important bit.
