I've been following this site for a few years now and I'm finally making my introduction. This is a great forum for audio/video and anything in the middle! I've always like the content here by the members and I just wanted to say hello.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Over the years I've made so many reconfiguration changes to my system it makes my head spin! I think many of us is after that audio/video nirvana! For some it may take years to get there!

I've had Emotiva, Denon, Arcam, Yamaha, Esoteric, Kef, Krell, Burson, PS Audio, Rel, Sony, Bowers & Wilkins, Parasound, Sharp, Panasonic and Music Hall in my system configuration at onetime or another but during the search for better sound I've made many changes. The Panasonic ZT60 plasma will remain!

New/used items that I have just recently picked up...Primare SPA21 and Cary Audio 306/200.

Currently, my Classe Pre/Pro, Sonus faber towers and Krell amps have been taken down and placed into storage until the wife and I move out of our townhouse. To allow the towers to breathe I'll need a bigger space with a dedicated music room. I'm getting by deploying the Luito stand-mounts and just using the Primare SPA21 to drive them via the SPA21's external analog connections. TBH, the SF monitors have really come alive with that particular processor/amp. Its like they're not even there! Sonus faber is a magical brand! The 306/200 is my source and I may occasionally use my Mac to play music. Getting back to the 306/200 it is an amazing disk-spinner as I'm finding the Cary/Primare/Sonus faber combination is just magical to my ears and I'm not using a sub! For an occasional movie, I'm using the Oppo 95. The only caveat is I'm not deploying the rears at this time but I am using the SF Smart CC.

The elusive search for music nirvana can be a long one and I'm almost there!

I've read some reviews on the Cary cd/dac and they were all favorable bar the remote, so only a little niggle, but is supposed to sound fantastic. Great selection of kit Alvin

Maryland, There's a blast from the past. I grew up in Gaithersburg as a kid then moved to the UK just before I was eight. How is the old country :-)
