For sale: Denon PMA-720AE integrated amp (silver).

Hi guys I bought this amp last week to tide me over until Christmas having just sold my XTZ integrated.

The amp is in as new condition and comes complete with the original box and manual.

I bought it from PFM and paid £115 inc postage so would like that back for it.

I'm really impressed with the amp and wasn't expecting much but I could easily live with it but I've just bought a Quad pre-power pair of amps so I really need to move the Denon on, I was going to keep it for back up but I can't really justify doing that.

Apologies for the quality of the photos but there are other photos in the original for sale thread and there's a good Hi-Fi choice article below in which the amp get very good reviews.

I have the partner Network player and love it, one of the really good things about having both the amp and the Network player is that the amp's remote controls both the Network player and the amp.

There are a lot of great features in the amp such as headphone and phono amps, direct and loudness buttons and mute button on the remote.

The sound is pretty good, a bit thin sounding but today I switch the amp out of source direct mode and the sound opened up quite a bit, there's also two sets of speaker posts and pre-outs and even an output for a sub, I believe.

For the money the amp is ridiculously good IMO.

Anyway the price of £115 includes postage to a UK postcode or £105 cash on collection from me here in Glasgow otherwise BT (preferred) or PPG.

This is some amp for the money guys and I'm not at it here:eyebrows:

I'm currently listening to The Wall on vinyl and the bass is astonishing, you do have to turn the volume up to get the Harbeth P3s signing relative to my last integrated (XTZ) but this Denon amp new is about an sixth of the price of the XTZ.

Not saying that it's as good as the XTZ cause it ain't but if your looking for a decent feature loaded amp for relative buttons then this is the boy for you:cool:

This one's way after my time (a 'Network' input indeed :)), but Denon usually learn from previous models and build on their past, not go off on tangents as Sony could with different generations. Hope you love it and at the price............... :)

The Network player is excellent Dave and that's coming from a commited radio man, it has excellent FM radio & AM tuners and an internet radio tuner plus it can play music from your phono, ipad, iphone et-all or from a USB or wirelessly from your PC.

The remote is a wee bit over complicated and the app isn't the best but the player itself is wonderful and a complete bargain.
