Hi People
Anyone fancy a Xmas raffle ?
£5 per entry
Would run as follows
Say we sell a total of £100 of tickets , suggest 20% goes to charity ( charity to be confirmed ) then £80 goes to the winner :)
Any better suggestions welcome ;)
If it gets off the ground I will put up further details :D

Good suggestion Jerry :)
Count me in for a couple of tickets please.
It would be nice if the charity could reflect our common interest, such as those providing music therapy etc.

Maybe it's just me, but my reticence is that I'd prefer all the money I give to go to charity rather than a big chunk going from my pocket to another AOSer.
Sorry if that sounds naff, but that's just me.
Why not raffle some prizes that those that wish to can donate (for free) into a pool?
I'd be happy to put some nice cables and/or CDs/LPs up for it, for example.

double post
Prizes seem like a good way of doing it.
I have a 1m Rega Couple clone (AC110 based) fitted with Nuetrik Rean plugs and/or a 1m Mark Grant CANARE LV61s I would happily donate for Charity. If it was preferable, I could make up a 1m pair of MC5000 with the shield grounded at one end (but this would need time to source the cable and plugs).

I'd put up a Mark Grant G1000HD BNC-RCA 1.5m digital cable, for starters. :)

I will also put up a 1m set of MC5000 cables wired in whatever configuration the winner wishes . Again it may take a week or so to source the components . These are all great ideas :)
