I just can't stand those ''annoying happy'' type of people. Clearly they should keep well away from the ''grumps'', like myself.

I'm generally a decent fellow with a good attitude when met in the flesh. But I certainly don't suffer fools gladly!!

If you look at Finns or Russians, (they don't have much in common), neither are big into laughing for no reason but it is no indicator of whether or not they are fools.

I have had a grumpy persona for most of my life and have rarely been considered a fool. Yet after some very major set backs I have suddenly switched to being very 'annoyingly happy' almost overnight; it is not something I have had much control over. Now, when encountering new people in this revised state, increasingly they seem to make negative assumptions about whether or not I have my wits about me. - quite a useful tool!

I think grumpiness is a function of age and of how much you've been pissed about in your life to date. I don't think hi-fi is relevant.

I can do 'grumpy' with the best of 'em, I'm really good at it actually, just ask the missus. Mostly though I enjoy annoying grumpy types by being exceptionally nice to them. Sometimes they respond positively and sometimes they tell me to 'fuck off', which is when I keel over in fits of giggles... Yeah, I think I might be quite annoying tbh... :rfl:
