Hello, after years with no audio aprt from CD radio, TV etc my other laf decided that the pile of LPs we have deserve another listen.... Suits me.. Tiniest of budgets though.So here for tips hints and guides on how to make the best of what I can afford.

Without knowing what your budget is, you are asking a rather open-ended question. Are you just looking for a turntable/arm/cartridge, or do you need an amplifier and speakers as well?

Anyway what is on those records that "deserve another listen"? Do tell - we're a bit nosey here.

Yep, Welcome Chris. Best you decide on what you need and set a budget. Open a thread in Blank canvas and ask for possibilities etc. There are lots of folk here to help and many have gear that, although not on sale they may offer to you etc. At very least they will give you some food for thought.

As Grant says, starting a thread in our 'Blank Canvas' section is a good idea. Just outline your needs and budget and I'm sure you'll get loads of advice and opinion. A modest expenditure can still produce good results.
