Wharfedale Diamond 155 Impedance Question.

Their Nominal Impedance is 8 ohms ''Compatible''.

Their Minimum Impedance is 3.7 ohms.

If they were connected into a 4 ohm tap on a Valve amp. Will this be safe without degrading the function and sound?

Yes. Impedance ratings are pretty arbitrary, as most speakers have a few swings up and down in impedance across their operating range, so I'd certainly not worry about a 0.3 of an ohm discrepancy. It'll mean nothing to the amp. Valve amps are generally load tolerant anyway. I just choose the tap that sounds best with any particular speaker, regardless of impedance.
