I'm new to this forum, but I've had an interest in hi-fi for years. I'm mainly into vinyl, and using a solid brass CTC 301/401 hybrid with a 3012 and a good old V15-IV. I have a Sondex valve amp and (of all things!) IMF TLS 80's. I'm considering hot-rodding a Lenco for my next project.....I love to tinker! ;)

HI ALLAN, AND WELCOME TO aOs. lOVELY GEAR AND ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SPEAKERS...THEY WERE DAMN GOOD AND NOT CHEAP IN THE DAY. Would like to see them again so if you could pop some pics into the Gallery section, i'd like that... The tt sounds pretty special to.... hope you enjoy you self and if you do a lenco you could give us a blow by blow account in the drawing board

What are your tastes in music - what are the grooves being played by the SME 3012/Shure V15 IV?

Nice collection of bits there. I like IMFs, they're still well respected speakers. Imagine how much they'd cost now.

Hi and welcome Alan. How about some pictures? Hot rodding a Lenco is the thing to do. They sound terrific. I have just had a Jelco fitted to mine and it's the dogs.
