I am looking for a stereo interconnect 1m long. It needs to be as good as or better than my current cable which is a Van den Hul Hybrid d102 mkiii terminated with Neutrik Rean rca. It also needs to be inexpensive. £20-30 delivered. What have you got knocking about?

The problem with the VDH cable is its length. I would take a 1m of the VDH if someone has it. Mine is too short at 0.5m. The arrival of the Pioneer tuner necessitated relocating the dac to the bottom shelf. This meant that the VDH had to move to the tt as it wouldn't stretch to the dac's new location. I would prefer my Transparent Music Link i/c to be back on the tt rather than on the dac so new cable required.

Bit of a long shot but I would be happy to swap my Trio KT-5300 (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?35158-Vintage-tuner-Trio-KT-5300) vintage tuner for the right i/c.

Good move replacing the D102. Not a cable I like.

If you want something cheap that sounds decent: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/audioquest-interconnect-/121495989074?pt=UK_Computing_Sound_Vision_Audio_Ca bles_Adapters&hash=item1c49b9ab52

Hmmm - I once thought the D102 (V3) was the best of all the VDH cables

Once my new 1m cable arrives, I'll be moving the VDH D102 to tuner duty. I've been quite happy with it sound-wise on the dac. I do prefer the Music Link to it on the tt though.

I've got a couple of pairs of the old Thunderline IC and it's vastly superior.
