As title would suggest went to this concert and very glad l did to.

Having seen Aussie Pink Floyd on numerous occasions was interested how the two acts would compare, first things first the APF (Aussie Pink Floyd) had a better sounding and more powerful PA, and they try to play everything note perfect, the laser show is also better with APF- so l am thinking this is budget related, however Brit Floyd seem to play with a bit more freedom and add little tiny bits on to notes and songs, they also take greater risks regarding song selection 'Fat old Sun', 'Childhoods end' from 'Obscured by clouds', and a couple of tracks from the film 'More', the group play with a great joy ( they clearly have a deep love of PF and and have good interaction with the audience, the guitarist does a good impression of Dave Gilmour Circa 1972 in looks and playing, lots of tracks from 'The Division Bell' and a very moving rendition of 'Take it back' with stills about mans messing up with mother nature, l was never really a fan of 'The Division Bell' but after last night and re-visiting the CD this morning l most certainly am now!

All in all if you were a late comer to the wonders of Pink Floyd like me, and never got to see the real thing, with Aussie Pink Floyd and now Brit Floyd l think we have never had it so good- go and check Brit Floyd out a rockingly good night out.
