Hi All,
As per my introductory post, I am selling my Conrad Johnson Sonographe SD22 CD Player.
I bought this brand new, for £999, back a ways - early to mid '90s I think.
It sounds fantastic - very very musical, and not at all brittle, yet it still has excellent clarity and tight bass.
I cannot find the damn remote, but it was a Philips remote which is probably generic.
It has a small dent/scratch in the middle of the top, courtesy of a child's toy back when they were young - this can be seen in the middle of the second photo.
It is not 'used to death' - in fact it has been stored in my bedroom wardrobe since 2002.

I would like £150 for it, plus postage at cost, or collection from Leicestershire.
I will donate £15 to the running of this site when it sells - I want to do right, and not just join and sell stuff without a care.

Cheers, Mark.

Very nice. Has to be a bargain at that price. I'm tempted, but I've already just bought another CD player (got four now).

Hee hee hee! That's me and bikes now - I have a lovely Planet X Carbon Roadbike (only started road biking on Jan 4th 2013, and cycled Land's End to John o'Groats in the May!), a very very upgraded Lapierre Mountain Bike (the dirt is my passion), a couple of other bikes including a hardtail hybrid, and I'm looking at buying a recumbent now!

Great players. I had one myself until recently and your asking price is spot on.
Any Philips / Marantz remote will operate it.

Just a question but how do you donate to AoS I sold a bunch of kit here earlier this year and poked around looking for a way, but saw nothing ?

I believe this can be done. Anybody wishing to make a contribution should PM Marco and discuss.

I'm surprised nobody's grabbed this rather nice CD player. It's a bargain at that price and looks in very decent condition.

Cheers dude.
Either it will sell, or it won't - I'm not overly bothered either way to tell the truth...
Cheers, Mark.
