as you know my nad tuner is tuned in and I get radio 2 radio 1 and our local radio Leicester in crystal clear reception however the green stereo light goes on and off now and again meaning it's sometimes not in stereo ! Should I get a dab tuner would this still lose stereo now and again ? Your advice most welcome thankyou
The tuner goes in mono-mode when the signal is weak. It is automatic to spare you from the hiss of stereo reception on low signal strength. I guess you can avoid this by moving the antenna to a spot with better signal strenght. FM is a little tricky this way, and a small move of the antenna can make a big improvement.
Everything in order it seems...

Could be just someone moving about causing it, that's the nature of the beast

Would I get this with a dab tuner???
DAB - tuners just close the sound when the signals too weak.
Try to move the antenna. Sometimes 5 cm is enough.
