Hello,
I currently live in Southeastern France but will be moving to Austin, Texas next year.
I have a small bookshelf system here: Denon receiver and CD player and Mission speakers.
I sold most of my Texas system before the move 18 years ago since it would not work over here.
The exception was my beloved Polk SDA SRS2s. They were stored at my mom's until she passed then I stored them with a trusted friend.
Found out 4 weeks ago that his wife made him give the speaker away. I traced them to a charity resale shop in Houston but they were long gone.
So I found the forum by looking for Polk SDAs for sale in Texas.
It has been a pleasure to read the threads starting with one about the SDA 1Cs and their wonderful sound. The person was located in Houston.
I truly loved my Polks. They were musical instruments not electronic devices.
I love old rock, classical, ancient. Still have all my LPs in storage. Still there I checked.
I am looking to replace the Polks. The man who gave them away will pay for the replacements.
I will rebuild a State side system with vintage components. Looking for a Pioneer receiver that can drive the Polks and a Denon single CD player.
