Ive just sold my revolver turntable and bought an AR deck, both had Linn arms fitted, the one on the AR is a basik plus and ive noticed the queuing lever has a lot less resistance,ie it really drops the stylus down compared to the revolver one which seems to float down gently.
is there something i can do to fix this please?
thanks.

You could do with contacting DSJR - he has a lot of experience of this type of issue with the Linn arms.
He's probably solder sniffing atm and getting burnt fingers in the process :)

Sounds as though the silicone fluid in the arm-descent mechanism needs replacing. Suggest you get in touch with Audio Origami to discuss the problem.
