Looking at one of these in good nick for about £80 delivered. Not had a 'neer amp for an age and certainly not this one so would be grateful for opinions and experience if you've any to share.

Not so good those bud, for £80 I'd keep an eye out for a Sony TA-FB930R / TA-FB940R or if you fancy a different manufacturer Denon have some sub £100 beauties.

If you're patient Yammy A-S500 can go for as low as £85 on eBay... http://gadgets.itwriting.com/2844-fun-with-amplifiers-classic-naim-vs-modern-yamaha-integrated.html

Cheers James. I shall leave the Pioneer alone then. Do quite fancy another Sony and have been looking at a TA FB730R boxed and minty fresh. Any experience of those?

The 730 isnt bad, its basically a 920 with a smaller power supply so should be fine with the R352 which are a pretty easy load IIRC. The sound will be familiar to you as the 920/930/30ES are all very similar internally [like 95%]

Easy load is right, the Topping does very nicely. Just missing the Sony thing and this will get me back on the ladder while looking for an ES beast.
Should have the added advantage of being controlled by the 7700 remote.

Ta much.

Personally i don't think it was one of Pioneer's finest moments.
