FS: Thorens TD125 mkII Turntable

Hi everyone.

My analogue clear out continues, just have too many TT's and bits and pieces.

So, back up for sale is this stunning example, all original Thorens TD125 mkII Turntable with SME 3009 series 2 improved tonearm and original SME tonearm cable.

Excellent condition, a wonderfully engineered TT, comes complete with lid.

Looks very tidy ... classic combination that would suit a nice mm cartridge.

It's a lovely thing, if I didn't live in a cupboard I would be keeping it, but unfortunately my girlfriend needs more room for shoes and stuff. There I was thinking that my bedroom was for storing all my spare equipment :lol:

Forgot to mention that the power supply filter capacitors were changed recently due to platter rotation instability. It wanted to play backwards sometimes, which was quite unnerving, and also amusing the first time it happened :)
