Glue would not get anywhere near my record collection

I've tried it on a couple of 45s. Surprisingly successful, more so than the cheapish bath cleaner - I forget the name of the thing - that I used.
I don't think I would fancy treating my best LPs with it though, too risky. I am lucky enough to have a plentiful supple of PVA as I keep loads in the workshop. Could turn out expensive if you have many to do.

would use glue as a shampoo or cleaning the car before getting near my LPs
lots of commercial tried & tested LP cleaning fluids for under 20quid to clean 400/500LPs
why take the risk
