Wanted Linn Kan speaker stands

Hi guys, I'm looking for a pair of Linn Kan speaker stands, open frame type exactly like the ones in the ebay link below, please allow for postage to Glasgow or preferably pick up from Glasgow/West of Scotland.

Think these are the MK1 stands but they are intended for Harbeth P3 Esrs so they should be approx 57cms in height and the top 19cms X 19cms.

Condition not important although not wrecked :eyebrows:

A wee suggestion for you Tony...

I have used Atacama SE24 stands under my LS3/5a, the top plates are exactly the right size. Not the same "classic" look as the Kan stands but might be easier to find?

The speaker was angled slightly in this pic, rather than repositioning the stand. They do fit spot on.

They look like this, should cost you under £30 and should be easy enough to find.

They MUST be filled with something otherwise they ring like bells...

If you do find Kan stands, PLEASE replace the top spikes with some flush ones and use little bump-on feet to support the speakers if necessary. Blue-tac gets in the veneer grain and won't come out and the spikes are truly lethal to the cabs :(

I'm hoping to have a pair of custom made stands made like these below, a AOSer has offered to price up doing the work for me but in the meantime I would like a pair of the Kan stands though but to be honest any of the stands above would be fine for the minute.

Hi guys for anyone interested I've had an e-mail reply back from the manufacturer of those speaker stands above quoting an ex-works price of $170 a pair not including freight charges so I've e-mailed back asking for an indication of freight and customs charges.

The price for the stands themselves seems very reasonable.
