All upgraded components are installed in the CD67, I purchased the CD67SE for the tidier enclosure and structural modifications with a view to transplanting the mods into it, however due to the arrival of an Oppo 105D this is as far as I going with the Marantz.
The standard clock has been removed and replaced with the Tricord Clock 4b.

Stock OPAMPS have been removed and replaced with AD826AN.

The SRPP will take ECC81, 82 or 83 and is wired externally but is small enough to be mounted inside the CDP. I've included a pair of ECC81's, 82's and 83's so you can do a bit of tube rolling.

The CD67's case is very scruffy and there are lots of scratches to the top, hence the donor CD67SE.

The CD67SE's case is very presentable and the PCB is original, untouched and in good working order but it doesn't read discs and I've had the fuses out of it.

It really is a nice sounding CDP, compared to a stock CD63 MKII KI the CD67 walks it, it's in a completely different league, the CD63 doesn't come close. Compared to the Oppo 105 it comes second, it does put up a convincing fight though, and makes me wonder how much closer the CD67 could come to the Oppo with all the capacitor, regulator and PS mods? It is for this reason that it's up for sale, I don't need yet another CDP and I'd only be spending more time with it to see how close it can come to the Oppo and considering I already have the Oppo (and I'm very happy with it) I don't really know what the point would be?
A great sounding CDP for someone and could be even better with a bit more time spent on it.
I'm asking £150.00 for everything plus £15.00 postage, I know the postage is expensive but there are 2 CDP's, you're welcome to arrange your own courier if you prefer.
