FS: Technics SL-P1200 CD player - a bit modded

What a lovely player. :thumbsup:
It's in excellent condition, too.

Full remote control with 12dB of volume change.

Works well.
Has been slightly modded by TonyC, who also added an IEC mains socket on the rear, replacing the standard hardwired mains cable.

Having popped the lid and rummaged around a bit, Tony was of the view that it was an early version and had had light usage.

It plays about half of my CDRs, and all of the standard CDs I have tried over the many months I have used it as my main source.
-- it very occasionally takes a bit of time and mech chuntering to read a CD's TOC, but it gets there in the end!

It owes me a bit over £400, so I'd take £400 for it. :)

Collection or meet up most definitely preferred rather than risk this lovely machine with couriers.

Mine plays half to maybe two thirds of my CDRs OK. That's better than many modern Accuphase CDPs manage! ;)
