Not been around for years, but in clearing out the box room, all of this hifi nonsense came flooding back.

What did you find in the box room? Kondo? Acoustic Research? We've got another bloke here with an Oracle TT on his junk pile so anything is possible...

Used to be very active about 10 years ago. Had a few bakeoffs at my place and visited loads of people. Then just got bored and realised I was chasing my own tail, so gave it all up

As for my box room, mainly lots of rubbish and empty boxes. However found loads of valves, so I must sort through them and sell them on. And lots of bits and pieces, old Systemdek, Golden Tube amp, pair of monobock homemade valve amps. Must clear this stuff out.

Meant to say Lee, that it is requested you put your location in the box as well as your name. The reason why we ask for that information and for first names is to ensure that AoS acts as a community, and also helps if you use the sales thread etc.

Hi lee, good to read you are still here and still in Maidenhead I see....I remember the meets well! Some of the 'old' WAD crowd are over at Audio-talk.co.uk and some on the World Designs forum. ATB. Neal

Not that many really, a lot of the old WAD crowd went over to Audio Talk when Nick (Goreham) started it, and we're all still there!
