thats a nice listening area Robert. ...and a keyboard in the corner.:)
Very minimal and economical with the space.
See you've also gone for some room treatment, diy? Tell us about it.

It was done very iteratively/unscientifically. There is a window and patio door covered with blinds that are not sound absorbing and painted walls; so despite the sofa, rug and diffusion given by the book shelves there is a lot of reflective surface.
Bass was reasonably OK but reflected treble and mid-range was preventing using too much volume due to listening fatigue so I started ordering panels with the right absorption until things calmed down, then running the DIRAC live correction software (using the microphone measurements) cleaned things up further including a bit of latency due to the differences in the surfaces around the speakers.
There are two more areas where more panels (I think) would add more benefit and maybe some attention to the ceiling then it is going to have to be refocusing on the kit - but addressing the room goes along way.

Interestingly curved room you have there in pic2 - you were lucky to find a table the same shape. ;)
