Greetings from a very Green new user: Landbear

Hi Guys,

Thanks for having me. Im pretty new to forums and came to get a few questions answered. I am currently studying Fine Art at Art Center in Pasadena and working on projects that involve sound and multi-channel installations. My experience with audio is grounded in playing in lots of bands over the years and dabbling in home recording. The prompt of this post listed that I tell you guys about my gear.

The Music stuff is:

Thanks for the greeting. Im not interested much in changing my set-up, i just got it how I like it! Ill be sure to post pictures soon. Im mainly here to answer questions on getting a 100 channel sound installation figured out…Ill be sure to submit a new post with my questions and appropriate links for my question. It might not be the right place for my questions, but I might as well try. If you'd like a pic here's one of a 6' tall bass (fully functional) I made with a 2x4 neck on an old Hohner bass and piano wire as the strings!!!

Hello and welcome from another bass player....

I'm guessing you play that like an upright but maybe with a slide or even a bow?

Can't imagine what it sounds like.

I currently have 2 fenders (p and j) an ibanez boutique 5 string a few acoustics and I've also built a cbg from kit and sourcing parts for my next scratch build.

Amp wise I've had trace, ampeg, Laney but I'm getting to old for lugging a stack and don't do any gigs which require it these days so my line6 combo is more than enough and with a fuzz, delay and wah I can get all the tone I need.
