Hi all. There seem to be quite a number of members not displaying avatars. Can I please encourage those members to consider using one? It makes the pages of postings on each thread look more friendly and less impersonal and it brightens up the forum. Thanks.

You just ran over a cat on the way home didn't you ... it has put you into a right good humour!

Agreed. A pic is often more memorable than a name. Signatures are another issue. One problem is that some members put each bit of equipment on a separate line and almost an entire screen is taken up for two millimeters of content.

Did we have a thread re " How annoying moving avatars are ? "

Maybe on another forum I frequent :)

Just to be annoying, I'm reviving this thread.

Actually, I'd like to persuade those not using an avatar piccie to consider having one. We seem to have quite a few postings without today.

Anything (socially acceptable) would do.
