My TEAC VRDS 25x has had the following mods :-
Both original Oscillator Circuits are replaced with XO Clock3 SE Oscillator Modules
Sample Rate Converter and Digital Filter IC's replaced with our superior Upgrade Boards
Additional Toroidal Transformer is installed for Analog Power Supply
All Op Amps are exchanged for better Types
I / V Conversion Stage: 2x D-DIP with two OPA627 mounted
Analog Filters and Output Stages: 4x T-SIL with one OPA627 mounted
Analog Filters changed to Bessel Characteristic and realized with Polystyrene Capacitors
All Resistors in Analog Signal Chain replaced with Welwyn RC55/0,1%
Differential Amplifier realized with Vishay S102 High Precision (0,01%) Resistors
Power Supply Capacitors for Digital Part replaced with Oscon Capacitors
Power Supply Capacitors for Analog Part replaced with ELNA Silmic II
Bypass Capacitors replaced with Wima MKP02
I was considering adding a masterclock and my interest was piqued when I heard about http://www.antelopeaudio.com/en/products/10M-atomic-clock My CD player cant accept a masterclock like this but I'd like to upgrade the clocks which live in my CD player. I understand that it has an accuracy of 5ppm which is pretty much like the Trichord clock 4 upgrade. Can anyone suggest anything better?
