What digital coax inputs does everyone prefer or tend to use?

I just wondered if theres an advantage to using Input 1 over 2 due to shorter circuit track lengths or whatever?

Talk about obsessing! :)
Well, more curiosity perhaps.

Not Daft, but DEFINITELY obsessive!! :-) (and remember, if the trace of one is even 10% shorter than the other, it's less that 1%(let's say, depending on cable length) of the length of the path once the cable's attached).

hang on.....wait for it....

I was just kidding (and agreeing with you, sort of). Actually, they might sound a bit different if one of the traces is near a noise source (compared to trying to hear a diff with a slight trace length diff). My second thing was just that the trace length difference between the two paths inside the box would be pretty small (probably), and when you consider that the trace length is added to the cable length for the total signal path length, the internal difference gets pretty small as a percentage of the whole.
