As per title, I'm after a matching pair of rectifier tubes for my Puresound A30.
Currently have the following in my little collection, but I do fancy trying a pair of 'coke-bottle' valves:
RCA 5U4GB 1961: Really like these, lovely sounding tubes
Sylvania/Baldwin 5U4GB 1950s: Dirt cheap, but sound a little thin compared to the RCAs
Weber Copper Cap 5U4GB: Great rectifiers but they lack that lovely warm tube sound IMHO.
Thinking something along the lines of:
Tung Sol 5U4G
Mullard GZ37 / CV378
Sylvania VT-244
Sylvania 5931
I'm aware I may need deep pockets to scratch this itch, but pls do let me know what you have available.
