View Full Version : Phonostage loading plugs
Having had a fruitless search on line, does anyone make/sell phono loading plugs? My Dino stage has various settings but not for 33k ohms which people have advised works well with an ortofon 2m black. Is there anywhere I can get plugs to get to the 33k figure (either by reducing the 47k or increasing one of the other available settings).
Cheers
Mike
Ps should have said that I don't really know how to solder or what I'm doing with resistors etc
Cannot remember the Dino having the sockets for loading plugs but could be wrong.
Ah right thought the plugs would go on the end of the arm lead but may well have got that wrong
Try asking Trichord. The main chap there is very approachable. I spent a pleasant hour or two with him while he fixed my dino (and upgraded it to Mark II spec.).

I have a Firebottle and loading plug sockets are the rca type the same as the in and out. you can then plug small plugs like an rca plug with the risisters/ capacitors inside.. There may well be other ways of course.
