Indeed, and pretty ‘soulless’ in comparison, too! One could also say the same for the respective recording methods… ;)

I really admire those old boys, who know how to use that superb vintage recording equipment, and most importantly, obtain sonically superlative results from it. Sadly, when those guys are gone, there will be no-one to replace them…
