Hi All

I'm after a Beresford Bushmaster II dac. Although I would consider alternatives. A headphone input not necessary.

Darren

I have two Bushmaster MK2's, one in the main system and one in the bedroom system. They are very good.
Having recently changed the living room amplifier, I am considering changing the living room Bushmaster MK2, for a Caiman MK2, so I can reduce the output level from the DAC, as it is a bit high for this older amp.
I would be prepared to sell it for £120 plus fully insured postage. Sorry no offers.

It is in great condition with original packing and unused switched mode power supply.

From a non smoking home.

Cheers,
Alan.

Hi Alan

That's only £19.99 cheaper than a brand new one. Sooner pay the extra and get a guarantee.

Hi Darren,

I didn't realise that Stan had reduced the price since I paid him £189.99 for it as an ebay weekend special.

Good luck with your search.

Hi Darren,

There's VAT to add for definite (£28) and maybe a shipping charge too, I think Alan's offer of £120 is a pretty good price.

All the best,

Phil.

Us lot over here do pay Vat, so I'm thinking you'll be a bit pushed to get a better price than the one offered you originally, as no one is going to want to lose that 20%, even if you have the luxury of not paying it.

I have a mate who paid quite a bit more than £120 for his used one.

There are a couple on the Bay at the moment and one comes with an external battery pack:

Personally I'd go for the Rega Dac (I've had both) which can be picked up for about £210 used or £299 new (for the outgoing model) on eBay, but that's just my preference, and remember the Rega is designed and Made In Britain !! :D
